A 50-MHz, three-channel, 36 bit (three 12-bit components) colorspace converter and color corrector, the TMC2272A uses 9 parallel multipliers to proces.

TMC2272A Features

* 50 MHz (20ns) pipelined throughput
* 3 Simultaneous 12-bit input and output channels (64 Giga {236} colors)
* Two's complement inputs and outputs
* Overflow headroom available in lower resolution
* 10-bit user-defined coefficients
* TTL compatible input

TMC2272A Applications

* Translation between component color standards (RGB, YIQ, YUV, etc. )
* Broadcast composite color encoding and decoding (all standards)
* Broadcast composite color standards conversion and transcoding
* Camera tube and monitor phosphor colorimetry correction
